How to watch the Travis Scott event in Fortnite
The first Fortnite Travis Scott concert has already taken place, with record-breaking numbers getting involved.
Excited for the Travis Scott Fortnite event? Well, for some of you, it's already happened. Record-breaking numbers of players 'tuned in' for the alt hip hop star's Astronomical in-game gig, and it was quite the show. It was literally massive.
In case you hadn't heard, Grammy-nominated rapper and producer Travis Scott is going on a mini-tour in Fortnite. From April 23-25, Scott is performing five in-game shows for players around the world that will feature the premiere of a brand-new track called Astronomical.
The Travis Scott concert comes just over a year after Marshmello's live show, which reportedly drew more than ten million viewers in-game and millions more who watched online. Scott's concert could pull in even bigger numbers: The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in stay-at-home orders around the world, and that means there are an awful lot of gamers out there with an awful lot of extra free time on their hands.
But the concert is just the beginning. There's a Fortnite Travis Scott skin available in the item shop, plus an emote and other in-game items. And once they're in your back pocket, there are some special challenges to celebrate the event that you can complete now, such as the quest to bounce off different Fortnite Astro Heads. So, here's when you can enjoy the gig, what you need to know about the special challenges, and the cool merch you can buy.

Scott isn't just here to play some music, though: He's also joining the game in a more permanent sense as part of the Fortnite Icon Series, a collection of in-game cosmetics inspired by artists and content creators including Ninja, Jordan Fisher, Pokimane, and Elly.
