The pull of a good piece of tat is fairly inescapable, probably because 90% of tat is made with magnets.

But really, we genuinely like this wrist-GPS for its data logging capabilities—runs logged outdoors are tracked via satellite, and a USB tab embedded in the watch lets you upload the data to your PC when you're done. Nike's free website elegantly collects your run routes and times, outputting them via Google Maps and even showing how fast you were going at which point. For the metrics-obsessed, it's the best way of using technology to visualize and understand your effort as a jogger, short of having some sort of encouraging robot coach.
