The cheapest way to pre-order the Resident Evil 4 remake in Australia
Ahead of its March 24 release, here's how to prepare for the remake of Capcom's classic survival horror.
Resident Evil 4 is arguably the most beloved outing in Capcom's long-running horror series. Originally released in 2005 for Gamecube, it's getting the big-budget remake treatment on March 24, just like Resident Evil 2 and 3 did before it. Like those earlier remakes you should expect some variations from the original, but one things seems relatively certain: with source material as good as this, it'll be a damn fine horror game.
For more on what we know about the Resident Evil 4 remake, you can do no better than consult our trusty guide. A few key pointers, though: It'll have a "reimagined storyline", according to the game's official site. It'll look much, much better, as befits a remake of a game that released nearly 20 years ago. Oh, and it's getting a PSVR2 version, which is exciting, but no word yet on whether PC will get a VR port also.
If you're looking to place a pre-order for Resident Evil 4 in Australia, there are quite a few options. As per usual, sites like Fanatical and Green Man Gaming are offering the better prices, compared to purchasing via Steam direct. There won't be a physical copy of Resident Evil 4 either, at least in Australia, so the likes of Amazon and JB Hi-Fi aren't much help for securing a copy of this particular game.
As of mid-March 2023, here are the best ways to pre-order Resident Evil 4 for PC in Australia, in order of cheapness. Aside from getting the game the moment it releases, a pre-order also grands you two items: the 'Gold' attaché case and a 'Handgun Ammo' charm.

Only marginally more expensive than Green Man Gaming's deal. If you've got any particular fondness for Fanatical, go with them I guess?
