Acer and PC Gamer once again partnered together to put on another Acer afterparty for PAX East 2017 and brought the house down with one of the largest turnouts to ever be hosted at the Royale Nightclub. The lines ran along the streets of Boston for several blocks as the party crowd braved the harsh winter weather.
As a thank you to our loyal fans and community, we gave out extra VIP passes to the party goers at the front of the line and handed out some custom bandanas to help ease the cold.
One of the major highlights of the event was Acer's Predator 21X notebook. The first of its kind, this insane 21” curved notebook packs a huge punch. Featuring not one, but two NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1080 SLI graphics cards, Intel ® Core ™ i7-7820HK processor, RGB mechanical keyboard featuring Cherry MX switch technology, and Tobii eye tracking. This bad boy is definitely not just for show.
Aside from the Predator 21X, attendees also experienced other Acer Predator products in their dedicated demo zones with a variety of games including: Resident Evil 7, Tom Clancy’s The Division, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Dishonored 2, Sniper Elite 4, and Dark Souls III.
Gamers also got a chance to compete in a 6v6 match against Overwatch Pro Players, Miso and iShiny, along with Tweeday, on stage. There was tons of swag and exciting giveaways including a Predator 17 gaming laptop and NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1080 graphics card!

Last but not least, our headlining performance by Yellow Claw rocked the entire nightclub with an amazing set that brought the night to a close.
