MSRP list: The original launch price of the cards
These aren't the golden times for the best graphics card deals, I'm afraid. With the arrival of a new generation of AMD and Nvidia GPUs, pricing isn't trending down in the way you might have hoped. The latest and greatest GPUs are still prohibitively expensive for the most part, and stocks of older models are few and far between.
The new generation of graphics cards started late last year, with the Intel Arc B580 and was swiftly followed by Nvidia's RTX 50 series, led by the RTX 5090, RTX 5080, and RTX 5070 Ti. AMD's RX 9070 series has just joined the crowd and you might have noticed AMD isn't opting for an uber-high-end graphics card in its RX 9070 series, instead leaving Nvidia to dominate with its latest AI-supercharged cards.
The expensive RTX 50-series gets a significant performance uplift through its Multi-Frame Generation, but supplies of the Blackwell GPU have been low, despite claims of doubling sales over the RTX 40-series. The RX 9070 series counters this with solid all-around performance and a more palatable price tag. But what about deals on the previous generation? Some of those new cards make it tough to recommend many of the previous generations, even at pretty decent discounts.
Nevertheless, the budget market isn't going to budge anytime soon, with the RTX 5060 and RX 9060 likely still a month or so away. And if you need a graphics card immediately, what can you do but hope for a decent deal on one? We've worked the angles and below are the best prices and availability on every current graphics card we think you ought to consider upgrading your gaming PC with.

Price watch: ➖
PowerColor RX 7600 | 8 GB GDDR6 | 2,048 shaders | 2,655 MHz boost | $269.99 at Amazon
As the budget baby of the RDNA 3 family, the RX 7600 faces a lot of competition. Not just from Intel and Nvidia, but from AMD's older generation of cards too. At this price, though, it's quite a bit cheaper than the RX 6700 XT and in some games, it performs nearly as well, as you can see in our review. It's not the most exciting of graphics cards, though.
RX 7600 price check: B&H Photo $269.99 | Best Buy $309.99
Price watch: 🔼
MSI RTX 4060 | 8 GB GDDR6 | 3,072 shaders | 2,475 MHz boost | $334.99 at Best Buy
Entry-level RTX 50 series cards won't be available for a while, so Nvidia's current cheapest entry point is the RTX 4060. While faster than the RTX 3060, as shown in our review, the price suggests it should have been better. You do get the full DLSS 3.5 suite, though, and it's pretty decent at encoding video for streaming. Nevertheless, we prefer AMD's RX 7600 or last-gen RX 6700 at this price point.
RTX 4060 price check: Newegg $335.44 | Amazon $339.99
Price watch: 🔽
ASRock Arc B570 | 10 GB GDDR6 | 2,304 shaders | 2,660 MHz boost | $269.98 at Newegg (after rebate)
Intel's new Battlemage chip is only a fraction slower than its last-gen Arc A770, so at this price, it's worth considering. Do note, though, that the drivers still need work as some games really don't like the new architecture. When it's all working fine, you're getting a lot of GPU for the money. This combo deal is still above the $219 MSRP, but is the cheapest way of bagging a B570 right now, and you get a 650 W PSU in the bargain.
Arc B570 price check: Amazon $325 | Newegg $329
Price watch: 🔽
Sparkle Arc B580 | 12 GB GDDR6 | 2,560 shaders | 2,670 MHz boost | $349 at Amazon
Stocks of Intel's best GPU, the Arc 580, are finally starting to pick up. The price tag is still above where we'd be completely happy recommending it as an essential budget purchase, even though it can be really fast in some games. When it's not crashing, of course.
Arc B580 price check: Newegg $369

PNY RTX 4060 Ti | 8 GB GDDR6 | 4,352 shaders | 2,550 MHz boost | $566 at Newegg
Yes, this really is the 'best' price for an RTX 4060 Ti at the moment. This has come about because stocks are super low, resulting in prices rocketing sky-high and in this case, being directly shipped from China also adds to the cost. Categorically not worth it at this price.
RTX 4060 Ti price check: Amazon $569 | Out of stock at Best Buy, Walmart, and B&H Photo
Price watch: 🔼
Sapphire RX 7700 XT | 12 GB GDDR6 | 3,072 shaders | 2,544 MHz boost | $450.94 at Amazon
The Radeon RX 7700 XT might lose out to its bigger brother, the RX 7800 XT, but if you're building a system on a budget it still makes a great mid-range card for solid 1440p gaming, as we found in our review of the Sapphire model. As with all RDNA 3 cards, though, stocks are dwindling rapidly, resulting in retailers relying on import models like this one.
RX 7700 XT price check: Newegg $499 | Best Buy $489.99
Price watch: 🔼
XFX RX 7800 XT | 16 GB GDDR6 | 3,840 shaders | 2,530 MHz boost | $569.99 at Best Buy
As you can see in our full review, the RX 7800 XT is only slightly faster than the RX 6800 XT it replaced, but it has a more modern feature set and copes much better with ray tracing. Stocks are now super low, which means prices are high, like this offer. But if you want AMD's best current mid-range GPU, that's what you'll need to pay.
RX 7800 XT price check: Walmart $749 | Amazon $609.99 | Newegg $649
Price watch: 🔼
XFX RX 7900 XT | 20 GB GDDR6 | 5,376 shaders | 2,535 MHz boost | $829.99 at Best Buy
The RX 7900 XT is a solid gaming graphics card, though it's somewhat overshadowed by Nvidia's similar offerings. What they all have in common is near-zero stock levels, but the odd model does still pop up here and there.
RX 7900 XT price check: Newegg $1,096.96 | Amazon $872.13

Gigabyte RTX 4060 | 8 GB GDDR6 | 3,072 shaders | 2,475 MHz boost | £269.99 at Currys
While the RTX 4060 isn't exactly one of our favourite graphics cards of all time, it's still capable of delivering good 1080p and 1440p performance thanks to DLSS 3. This little model has a twin-fan cooler and should slot into almost any modern system with no fuss at all. At this price, as budget GPUs go, it's a bit of a steal.

MSI RTX 4060 Ti | 8 GB GDDR6 | 4,352 shaders | 2,580 MHz boost | £384.99 £349.99 at Amazon (save £35)
The RTX 4060 Ti might not have blown our socks off when it first arrived, but it's a great budget gaming GPU at this price with some chunky performance for the money. While there is a 16 GB variant available, 8 GB here should do you just fine, despite the fuss that was created around its launch.
RTX 4060 Ti Price check: Currys £349.99 | Overclockers £359.99

Gigabyte RX 7700 XT | 12 GB GDDR6 | 3,456 shaders | 2,599 MHz boost | £399.95 at Overclockers
Plummeting in price since release, the RX 7700 XT has become more and more one of our favourites with every price drop. Right now it's a superb mid-range GPU with lots of horsepower and plenty of memory to last you a good many years.
RX 7700 XT price check: Ebuyer £399.99

PowerColor RX 7800 XT | 16 GB GDDR6 | 3,840 shaders | 2,430 MHz boost | £548.99 £449.99 at Overclockers (save £99)
The RX 7800 XT is only a little bit faster than the RX 6800 XT it replaced, but it has a more modern feature set and copes with ray tracing a lot better. At this price, you're getting a lot of GPU and VRAM for not a lot of money.

Zotac RTX 4070 | 12 GB GDDR6 | 5,888 shaders | 2,475 MHz boost | £529.99 at Overclockers
The RTX 4070 is an absolute stalwart of GPUs, delivering superb mid-range performance for something approaching reasonable money. At this price, it makes a great upgrade option for those who have held out for good discounts on this generation of graphics cards, and thanks to DLSS, it should keep on kicking for quite some time yet.
RTX 4070 price check: Amazon £590

Sapphire Radeon RX 7900 XT | 20 GB GDDR6 | 5,376 shaders | 2,450 MHz boost | £799.99 £629.99 at Overclockers (save £170)
Seeing a bunch of RX 7900 XTs selling for well less than the original MSRP is a welcome sight, and while they might get overshadowed by some of Nvidia's greatest, they deliver a huge amount of performance. What we like about the XFX with its triple-fan array in particular is that it should run quieter than your average RX 7900 XT. We could all do with a little less noise from our PC.

Sapphire RX 7900 XTX | 24 GB GDDR6 | 6,144 shaders | 2,680 MHz boost | £1,099.99 £949.99 at Overclockers (save £150)
Over last year's sales period, the Radeon RX 7900 XTX was much cheaper and sold like proverbial hotcakes. Unfortunately, that means stocks are super low everywhere but the odd deal does pop up, like this nice PowerColor model. It's still not great value for money, so only buy one if you absolutely must have AMD's most powerful GPU.

Performance comparison
We've benchmarked all the latest GPUs of this generation, and have tracked their performance against the previous generation in terms of 3DMark Time Spy Extreme scores. Where we don't have the referential numbers for an older card we have used the average index score from the UL database. These figures track alongside an aggregated 1440p frame rate score from across our suite of benchmarks.
Intel's Arc cards are not noted here, as they generally score uncharacteristically highly in 3DMark, and that gives a false sense of performance without other frame rate figures to delve into. Check out our Arc A770 review and Arc A750 review for more.
MSRP list
Here's a list of the manufacturer set retail prices (MSRP), or recommended retail price (RRP), for most the latest graphics cards. For the most part, these are the set prices for the stock or reference versions of these cards, if applicable, and not representative of overclocked or third-party graphics cards, which may well be priced higher.

What does 'price watch' mean?
We've added a new "price watch" qualifier to all our individual deals, making it easy to see whether a price has gone up 🔼 or down 🔽 since we last checked it out. It's important to note that any deal in this guide (even if it's slightly risen in price) is still one of our top picks, as we only show you deals that are actually worth buying.
