Live now: the best Prime Day gaming laptop, PC, GPU, and monitor deals still around today

As we count down to the end of Amazon Prime Day, we're live blogging all the best PC gaming deals you can still buy today.

Gaming monitor, PC, and gaming laptop

Yes, Amazon Prime Day is over. Done. Kaput. Finito. But I'm going to be giving you a wee reminder that the discounts aren't finished. Not by a long shot. There are still a host of the best deals of the past week that are still live, and likely will be until the end of the week, stock willing.

That's because it's not just Amazon with the deals, indeed it's not even the best place to be finding the cheapest PC gaming gear right now. Every other retailer on this world wide web of ours is getting in on the summer sales event, which means there were great discounts before Prime Day and there will still be bargains to be had throughout the rest of the week.

I'm not going to be throwing every discounted product at you, just the absolute best Prime Day PC gaming deals I think are worth any PC gamers' attention.

For a fully comprehensive list of all the deals that are still live today check out our up-to-date lists of the best Amazon Prime Day PC gaming deals, best Prime Day gaming laptop deals, best Prime Day gaming monitor deals, best Prime Day gaming PC deals, best Prime Day GPU deals, and best Prime Day SSD deals.

Is Samsung's QD-OLED tech the ultimate in PC gaming screen tech? That's a tricky one. We certainly prefer Samsung OLED panels to LG's competing tech for PC usage. But then there are still things which old school LCD monitors do better. Like resolution and pixel density.

Anywho, if Samsung QD-OLED panels currently make for the best PC OLED monitors, then the good news is that Alienware's QD-OLED screen just got cheaper. Yup, you can now grab the Alienware 34 AW3423DWF for $899 at Dell. It's our pick as the best gaming monitor, not just the best OLED, either.

Alienware 34 AW3423DWF | 34-inch | 165Hz | 3440 x 1440 | QD-OLED | $1,099.99 $899.99 at Dell (save $200)

Alienware 34 AW3423DWF | 34-inch | 165Hz | 3440 x 1440 | QD-OLED | $1,099.99 $899.99 at Dell (save $200)
Alienware's fancy QD-OLED panel just got that little bit cheaper (check out our review). It's still not exactly entry-level at $899. But think of it as a long term investment that will make every single gaming session pop. Once you've experienced per-pixel OLED-style lighting, you won't want to go back to LCD tech.

Lenovo has been making a real name for itself in this latest generation and the Legion Pro 7i is the best Prime Day gaming laptop deal I've seen so far. This is an immensely powerful RTX 4080-based notebook discounted to $2,249 at B&H Photo right now.

It was $50 cheaper earlier in the sale, but that's still a saving of $500 on a machine that we're happily calling the best gaming laptop right now. And it's not some miserly spec, either. Of course you get the Nvidia RTX 4080 graphics silicon inside it, which is mighty powerful in its own right, with DLSS 3 support and Frame Generation adding free frames per second in games that run it. But you also get the 24-core, 32-thread Intel Core i9 13900HX CPU inside it, 32GB of DDR5 memory, and a 1TB NVMe SSD.

Lenovo Legion Pro 7i | Nvidia RTX 4080 | Intel Core i9 13900HX | 16-inch | 1600p | 240Hz | 32GB DDR5-5600 | 1TB NVMe SSD | $2,749.99 $2,249 at B&H Photo (save $500.99)

This is a surprise: a discount on the best RTX 4080 laptop I've tested. It's a fantastic notebook, offering performance that can often match and sometimes beat an RTX 4090-based system (see our review). There's a high-performance CPU to back it up, a decent, bright 1600p screen, and a fair amount of storage. The only bad news is that it was $50 cheaper earlier in the sale.

What do you call it when our current best value gaming laptop gets a deep discount? That's not the setup for a joke, I'm actually asking. Hyper-affordable? Ultra-value? Whatever name you'd give it, it applies to the Gigabyte G5, which you can currently snag for well under a grand in this year's crop of Prime Day gaming laptop deals.

Gigabyte G5 KF | Nvidia RTX 4060 | Intel Core i5 12500H | 15.6-inch | 1080p | 144Hz | 8GB DDR4 | 512GB SSD | $1,099 $899 at Newegg (save $200 with coupon)

Gigabyte G5 KF | Nvidia RTX 4060 | Intel Core i5 12500H | 15.6-inch | 1080p | 144Hz | 8GB DDR4 | 512GB SSD | $1,099 $899 at Newegg (save $200 with coupon)
The Gigabyte G5 (see our review) is our favorite affordable gaming laptop around right now, packing the RTX 4060 GPU for some serious 1080p gaming performance in a budget package. It's a smart spec that essentially uses an otherwise older specification with the simple addition of just the new Nvidia RTX 40-series graphics chip. The 512GB SSD is a bit miserly, but that is upgradeable, but the 8GB of DDR4 memory is the tougher issue. Again, the memory is upgradeable, but it's still a bit frustrating—still, a great gaming laptop for the money.

If your Steam Deck is already starting to sweat at your game choices, it may be time for an upgrade. There are two great Prime Day SSD deals on Sabrent drives that come in the small factor NVMe your Steam Deck requires. Both are faster than the Steam Deck's standard SSD, and the 1TB option is larger than the built-in storage space on even the largest Deck model for just $109

If you've got one of the lower capacity Steam Decks with a current 64GB or 256GB drive, then you can get a storage and speed upgrade by grabbing the 512GB Sabrent Rocket 2230 for a modest $15 discount to $75. If you pay a bit more, you can bag the 1TB drive for just $109 which is a pretty steep 60% off its typical price.

Sabrent Rocket 2230 | 1TB | NVMe | PCIe 4.0 | 4,750MB/s read | 4,300MB/s write | $269.99$109.95 at Amazon (save $160)Price check:

This is a very high-capacity version of our favorite 2230 form factor NVMe SSD for the Steam Deck. While you are paying a premium for handheld compatibility, pairing this with the cheap Steam Deck would save you $80.01 over the top capacity Deck and double the storage space.

Price check: Newegg $109.99

Sabrent Rocket 2230 | 512GB | NVMe | PCIe 4.0 | 5,000MB/s read | 3,700MB/s writes | $89.99 $74.99 at Amazon (save $15)

The 512GB drive is a great middle-ground for Steam Deck upgrades. Add the price of this and the $399 64GB Deck together, and you still save $160.01 over buying the top tier Deck. That's with well-improved read/write speeds, too.

There's a new version of the BlackShark V2 Pro (2023 Edition), which is great and all, but the original still has the same excellent sound quality, wireless ease of use and lightning fast connection, but is now half the price. If it were my money, I'd still be buying the classic BlackShark V2 Pro.

In fact, I'm still regularly rocking my own set at home right now.

I'm writing this copy listening to War on Drugs through these exact cans, and they are absolutely my go-to gaming headset. And I have access to a lot of gaming headsets... The multi-chamber driver design gives them supreme clarity and almost an open back soundstage. And for under $100, they're an outstanding wireless headset in black or white.

I know I shouldn't be sitting here recommending you buy an RTX 3060 gaming laptop in 2023, not when you can get faster RTX 4060 machines for less than $1,000. But if I was looking for a great budget Prime Day gaming laptop deal I'd be sorely tempted by this Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 for just $800 at Best Buy.

It's not sporting the latest in either AMD Ryzen processor stock or Nvidia graphics card silicon, but the Asus design is so damned good that I can absolutely forgive those slight performance sacrifices. And it's probably the one I'd spend my own money on.

Asus ROG Zephyrus 14 | Nvidia RTX 3060 | AMD Ryzen 7 5800HS | 14-inch | 1080p | 144Hz | 16GB RAM | 512GB SSD | $1,399.99 $799.99 at Best Buy (save $600)Price check:

If you don't want a hulking gaming laptop, let me introduce the Zephyrus 14 (see our review): a 14-incher that can game without busting your bank balance or your shoulder when lugging it around. No-nonsense specs in a delightful package. While a bit older now versus the RTX 40-series GPUs, this is a very smart package for a low fee.

At this point SSD pricing is dropping so fast it's almost tempting to just sit back and wait for the manufacturers to just start giving them away. Almost. But when you can grab one of the fastest 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSDs for just $60—or a 2TB version for only $30 more—then it makes sense to just pull the trigger today.

Oh, and if you were thinking maybe you'd hold out for a PCIe 5.0 SSD instead, well... don't. They will make no material difference to your PC gaming experience except for potentially making your system a whole lot hotter.

WD Black SN850X | 2TB | NVMe | PCIe 4.0 | 7,300MB/s read | 6,600MB/s write | $89.99 at NeweggPrice check:

WD Black SN850X | 2TB | NVMe | PCIe 4.0 | 7,300MB/s read | 6,600MB/s write | $89.99 at Newegg
Our favorite SSD for gaming but in a 2TB package. Again, there's a premium to pay for the speed the SN850X offers, but it's worth it if you are chasing performance.

Price check: Western Digital $143 | Amazon $143

WD Black SN850X | 1TB | NVMe | PCIe 4.0 | 7,300MB/s read | 6,300MB/s write | $79.99 $59.99 at Newegg (save $20)Price check:

WD Black SN850X | 1TB | NVMe | PCIe 4.0 | 7,300MB/s read | 6,300MB/s write | $79.99 $59.99 at Newegg (save $20)
This is our favorite SSD for gaming right now. Unlike the cheaper SN770, the SN850X encapsulates the best that PCIe 4.0 offers in terms of performance (see our review). That makes it a great fit for a boot drive with space to spare for your game library, and at this price, we're happy to pay the premium for its higher speed.

The AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT is a good graphics card but one that's been mostly overshadowed by the both the RX 7900 XTX and RTX 4070 Ti. That said, with a good enough deal it's right back into contention, and that's exactly what we've got for you today. This stunning AMD graphics card deal does a lot to bring this graphics card out of the shadows and into the spotlight.

You can pick up ASRock's RX 7900 XT Phantom Gaming for just $720 at Walmart, or if you prefer you can grab it for the same price over at Newegg. That's a saving of around $90 if you take Newegg's pre-sale pricing as read, or around $179 off AMD's launch day MSRP.

ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XT Phantom Gaming| 20GB GDDR6 | 5,376 shaders | 2,450MHz boost | $927.09 $719.99 at Walmart (save $207.10)

ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XT Phantom Gaming | 20GB GDDR6 | 5,376 shaders | 2,450MHz boost | $927.09 $719.99 at Walmart (save $207.10)
Seeing a bunch of RX 7900 XTs selling for well less than MSRP is a welcome sight. While the 'before' price on this specific card is a little inflated, it's excellent value right now at that sale price. What we like about ASRock Phantom is that it should run quieter than your average RX 7900 XT. We all could do with a little noise from our PC.

This is a genuine no-compromise gaming PC. Forget the fact it's not sporting DDR5, you get the best budget gaming CPU around in that Core i5 13400F and the 12GB RTX 4070. That's a graphics card that at worst will give you RTX 3080 levels of gaming performance, and with support for DLSS 3 and Frame Generation available to it, sometimes significantly more.

For $1,300 this is a gaming PC we could have only dreamt about putting together for this price just a few months back. Hell, even a couple of weeks ago you'd have struggled to find something this powerful for this little.

Yeyian Shoge | Intel Core i5 13400F | Nvidia RTX 4070 | 16GB DDR4-3200 | 1TB PCIe SSD | $1,599 $1,289 at Newegg (save $310)

A genuine discount on a gaming PC you won't have to immediately open up to upgrade: It's got enough RAM and a big enough SSD to be good out of the box, with one of the best graphics cards available today. It's a US-based company, has free shipping and there's not a lot else to worry about.

I'm not a fan of the name—if only we lived in a world where corporations dropped their katana obsession and made laptops called things like the Zweihander and the Falchion—but in all other respects this deal on an MSI Katana 15 gaming laptop is very tempting indeed.

These things normally retail for $1,499, but Newegg has lopped a whole $340 off that price, creating a Prime Day deal that's actually way cheaper than the one you can currently get on Amazon.

MSI Katana 15 | RTX 4070 | Intel Core i7 12650H | 15.6-inch | 144Hz | 1080p | 16GB DDR5 | 1TB SSD | $1,499 $1,159 Newegg (save $340)

MSI Katana 15 | RTX 4070 | Intel Core i7 12650H | 15.6-inch | 144Hz | 1080p | 16GB DDR5 | 1TB SSD | $1,499 $1,159 Newegg (save $340)
Proof that Nvidia's new RTX 40-series graphics tech doesn't always come at an unreasonable price. This RTX 4070 laptop is relatively affordable and comes ready to roll with 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. The 15.6-inch screen rocks IPS tech and 144Hz, too. OK, it runs last-gen Intel CPU tech, but with six Performance-cores, it has all the processing power you need for gaming.

One hundred and seventy nine bucks for a high refresh 1440p panel? To paraphrase Bruce Willis in Pulp Fiction, 1080p's dead, baby, 1080p's dead. Give it up for the MSI Optix G271CQP, yours for a mere $179 thanks to Amazon Prime Day.

At least, we'd struggle to pick 1080p now that you can have high refresh 1440p for such an affordable price. But there has to be a catch, right? Well, the obvious issue is that the MSI Optix G271CQP runs VA rather than IPS panel tech.

MSI Optix G271CQP | 27-inch | 170Hz | 2560 x 1440 | VA | $279.99 $179.99 at Amazon (save $100)

MSI Optix G271CQP | 27-inch | 170Hz | 2560 x 1440 | VA | $279.99 $179.99 at Amazon (save $100)
Rejoice, for 1440p high-refresh gaming is officially affordable. It really is hard to argue with this 170Hz 1440p 27-inch MSI monitor. It uses VA panel tech, of course, but the response rating of 1ms MPRT is definitely decent. If you haven't already made the jump from 1080p to 1440p, now is the time.

OLED technology is pretty awesome. But it's also pretty pricey. So, it's good to see some discounts for this year's Amazon Prime day. We've already reported on Dell's 34-incher beast being cut down to $899. Now here's LG's 27-inch Ultragear slimmed down to $849 at Amazon.

It's a classic 1440p display running at 240Hz. Factor in OLED's ridiculously quick response times and you have a recipe for some stupidly speedy gaming. The HDR visuals are pretty special, too, thanks to OLED's perfect per pixel lighting.

You might also consider Corsair's competing Xeneon 27QHD240, which is also on sale at $900. It's a little more expensive than the LG but uses exactly the same WOLED panel and performs very similarly.

LG Ultragear | 27-inch | 240Hz | 2560 x 1440 | W-OLED | $999.99 $849.99 at Amazon (save $150)

LG Ultragear | 27-inch | 240Hz | 2560 x 1440 | W-OLED | $999.99 $849.99 at Amazon (save $150)
LG's latest OLED gaming monitor is already seeing a relatively tasty discount. Though it is still a lot of money to drop on a 1440p panel when you can but a 170Hz 1440p LCD screen for just $180. But this is OLED tech, from the OLED kings at LG. We prefer the Samsung QD-OLED, to be fair, but if you're after a standard 16:9 monitor rather than an ultrawide, the LG Ultragear is a great option.

That Skytech Nebula is an absolute banger of a Prime Day gaming PC deal. The RTX 4060 Ti doesn't make for a great DIY GPU upgrade, but as part of a full, sub-$1,000 system, it's a great graphics card. It's comfortably faster than an RTX 3060 Ti—which is only now making an appearance in gaming PCs at this price point—though it is just shy of the older RTX 3070's gaming performance.

Paired with the Intel Core i5 12400F, it makes for an excellent budget gaming PC and the Skytech Nebula is just $999.99 at Newegg. The core components are ably supported by 16GB of DDR4-3200 and a 500GB SSD. Honestly, that's our biggest regret about this rig. You're going to run out of storage space very quickly, and when a great 1TB SSD can be had for as little as $60 today, it's a real shame system builders are skimping on storage so much.

Skytech Nebula | Intel Core i5 12400F | Nvidia RTX 4060 Ti | 16GB DDR4-3200 | 500GB SSD | $1,299.99 $999.99 at Newegg (save $300)

Skytech Nebula | Intel Core i5 12400F | Nvidia RTX 4060 Ti | 16GB DDR4-3200 | 500GB SSD | $1,299.99 $999.99 at Newegg (save $300)
At this point, who's going to buy a full-price Skytech gaming PC when they're pretty much guaranteed to be among the most discounted systems in any sale? I'm not complaining when you can bag a full RTX 4060 Ti gaming PC now for under $1,000. It's sporting a last-gen Intel Alder Lake chip, but it's still a six-core, 12-thread CPU of excellent gaming pedigree. The 500GB SSD feels a bit miserly in 2023, but that is one of the cheapest, and easiest upgrades you can make when you need a little more space.

If you're sick and tired of the rubbish microphone on your gaming headset, but don't want to buy a desktop mic because they're a whole heap of money and a pain to set up... well, don't worry. I've been there, but the Razer Seiren Mini is about as accessible a desktop mic as you can get, and it's ridiculously cheap. Especially today, where you can buy the Seiren Mini for just $38 at Amazon.

It doesn't have the controls pro users might want—not even a mute button—but that makes it a true plug and play microphone. It uses the same internal hardware as Razer's more expensive mics, so it still sounds fantastic. It's the one I use as part of my home setup right now.

The Seiren Mini (see our review) is a lovely little lozenge of a microphone for casual users. It's a super simple mic, using the internals of more expensive options within a basic package—there's no mute button or volume knob. You can also get it in white or pink, and all the colors are discounted.

This is our favorite wireless gaming headset (check out our review), thanks to its excellent sound reproduction and the simple fact that its battery lasts, and lasts, and lasts. Rated at 300 hours, it's going to be a long time between charges. The Cloud Alpha Wireless has only ever dropped below this price a couple of times, and only then by a couple of dollars.

We reckon ultrawide 34-inch panels are the sweetspot right now, so it's great to see that the ASRock Phantom PG34WQ15R2B is available for just under $300 at Newegg. That's a model we've reviewed ourselves. It was a really nice screen at its $379 launch price and it's only gotten better with that hefty price cut. In fact it's probably our pick of everything that's been offered so far, screen wise.

ASRock Phantom PG34WQ15R2B | 34-inch | 165Hz | 3440 x 1440 | VA | $379.99 $294.99 at Newegg (save $85 after rebate)

You can't beat a high-refresh 34-inch ultrawide gaming panel in terms of bang for buck, and ASRock gives you that particular bang for less buck than ever. As we found in our review, this 1ms 165Hz VA panel has no major weaknesses and makes for a really nice overall package for the money.

Yes, you can get a genuine 1080p graphics card for around $200. Intel's first foray into graphics cards had a slow start, with a weak driver stack, but it's only improved over time. Now it's blown the RTX 3050 and RTX 3060 out of the water in terms of value and regularly outperforms them, too.

If you're on a tight PC gaming budget then Intel's Arc A750 is great option for a gaming graphics card.

ASRock Challenger Arc A750 | 8GB | 28 Xe Cores | 2,050MHz | $249.99 $209.99 at Newegg (save $40 with code: FTTCUAZ253)

ASRock Challenger Arc A750 | 8GB | 28 Xe Cores | 2,050MHz | $249.99 $209.99 at Newegg (save $40 with code: FTTCUAZ253)
The Intel discrete graphics cards have only gotten more relevant since their inauspicious launch. With successive driver releases increasing performance and now a significant price drop, the A750 is now one of the most tempting budget GPUs around. It's a bit more power hungry than AMD's RX 6600 but is a super capable 1080p card knocking both RTX 3050 and RTX 3060 out of the value GPU stakes. This ASRock version also performs slightly better than the stock Intel-made version, too, and now costs the same.

Our favorite microphone for two years, the absolute best in the business. Shure is a beast at making high-end, professional microphones, and its attempt at bringing its pro-grade sound to a slightly less pro-grade price is a home run. The only thing we're not too keen on is that it uses Micro-USB rather than Type-C, but it's well worth the investment to give your voice recordings the professional boost they deserve.

It wouldn't be a deals event without one of Gigabyte's massive 43-inch gaming monitors going on sale withy a healthy discount. This isn't the FO48U with its OLED screen, but it's still a 43-inch 4K beast running at fully 144Hz and it's yours for just $769.99

It's certainly a whole lotta screen.

Aorus FV43U | 43-inch | 144Hz | 4K | VA | $769.99 at Amazon
The FV43U is the slightly smaller (and cheaper) version of the FO48U. Even though it isn't an OLED, it provides excellent picture quality and a 144Hz refresh rate at a 4K resolution. Pair this with a fancy RTX 40-series GPU, you've got a hell of a visual combo.

Can I interest you in a super high refresh rate 1080p gaming panel for less than $100 in these trying times? ASRock is a pretty recent entrant into the gaming monitor market, but it's making a mark for itself with some well-specced and impressively performant screens for the money.

Considering a 512GB SSD for the Steam Deck is just $75 at the moment, you can bag one of the cheapest gaming handhelds around and upgrade it to be faster than the most expensive Deck, all for just $434.

That feels like a bargain to me.

The cheapest Steam Deck model available is discounted for the Steam Summer Sale. If you really want a good deal, you can spend just a little over $40 on a 256GB Steam Deck-compatible SSD to turn this machine into the more expensive middle-tier model.

The 512GB drive is a great middle-ground for Steam Deck upgrades. Add the price of this and the $399 64GB Deck together, and you still save $160.01 over buying the top tier Deck. That's with well-improved read/write speeds, too.

Games are getting bigger and bigger, so here's a 4TB SSD for just $159. That works out to just four cents per GB.

And this isn't any old SSD. The TeamGroup MP34 isn't the ultimate in cutting-edge solid state storage, but it is a proper M.2 NVMe drive running TLC NAND memory, not some budget horror with QLC memory that falls off a performance cliff once you exhaust the SLC cache. It even has a Phison controller and some DRAM cache, though we can't quite work out how much.

The point is that for a proper SSD, one you might want to use for your main boot drive and not just bulk storage, you definitely want both TLC memory rather than QLC, plus some DRAM. And this drive delivers on both counts.

TeamGroup MP34 | 4TB | NVMe | PCIe 3.0 | 3,500MB/s read | 2,900MB/s write | $199.99 $159.99 at Amazon

TeamGroup MP34 | 4TB | NVMe | PCIe 3.0 | 3,500MB/s read | 2,900MB/s write | $199.99 $159.99 at Amazon
4TB of proper TLC flash memory and a slug of DRAM cache for $159. What more do you need? Sure, this is a Gen 3 drive delivering around 3GB/s of raw throughput, but you'll barely notice the difference in the real world versus faster drives and it comes complete with a five-year warranty. This, in other words, is your storage sorted.

Is there such a thing as a gaming monitor that's "too big"? I think not! We have discovered a pair of Prime Day deals on massive displays at all-time lows.

The Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 is currently available at a staggering discount of nearly $1,000 off. This 49-inch curved ultrawide monitor boasts a buttery smooth 240Hz refresh rate and an impressive 1ms response time. You'll need a spacious desk to accommodate this behemoth.

If you're in the market for a new TV replacement, the 48-inch LG UltraGear OLED gaming monitor is another excellent option, now on sale for $997. It comes equipped with numerous features for both console and PC gaming enthusiasts. Notably, it includes a pair of HDMI 2.1 ports, enabling you to enjoy your PlayStation 5 and Xbox in 4K resolution at 120Hz

With most prebuilt gaming PCs, you have to compromise on RAM or storage capacity to afford a larger and more powerful graphics card. Occasionally, however, we come across a deal that offers everything while maintaining a competitive price. That's what you'll find with the Skytech Azure: one of the more affordable RTX 4070 Ti PCs we've encountered, equipped with ample RAM, storage, and PSU capacity.

The Skytech Azure delivers excellent value for your money. If you're interested in learning more about our experience with another Skytech machine, see our Skytech Chronos 2 review.

Here's an RTX 40-series-powered PC on sale that doesn't skimp on RAM. This Skytech Azure has a Ryzen 5 7600X CPU with an RTX 4070 Ti GPU backing it up, alongside 32GB of DDR5-5200 RAM. You're giving yourself some really good performance for less than two grand. And you could dip your toes into some 4K gaming.

We spotted another great monitor deal on the stylish Razer Raptor 27 for only $314.99 at GameStop, nearly half of its current price. It's a great 1440p display on a speedy IPS panel that looks really nice on a desk, thanks to its clever RGB placement.

The Razer Raptor 27 is a sleek and modern gaming monitor that performs as well as it looks. I like how the RGB is displayed on the stand and the super-thin bezel on the 1440p IPS panel. My biggest issue was always the price, so seeing it nearly half-off is a huge win.

This one's a little odd: Pay full price for a Meta Quest 2, but get a $50 Amazon gift card with it. If you were planning to buy a Quest 2, you may as well take the gift card, and it'd be easy to miss—it's found through an inconspicuous "Prime Day bundle" button on the Amazon product page. Phew, here's a powerful little guy on sale at Amazon. This PC ain't cheap even on sale, but it was genuinely $500 more that this just a couple days ago. There's an even beefier version with a Ryzen 9 and RTX 4080 on sale, too. One to consider if you really like the Alienware look and want a high-end Starfield experience later this year, but alternatively, you can get a great RTX 4070 system for a much more manageable $1,289.

Another Samsung Odyssey on sale, this one a little more desktop-sized and a little more affordable than the last one we posted (the Odyssey Neo G9, which we reviewed positively). It's still a ton to spend on a display, but if you're buying one of those high-end Alienware PCs we posted earlier, maybe this'd be up your alley. Speaking of, though, you might alternatively consider this discounted Alienware OLED for a high-end display.

Here are the 10 most popular Prime Day PC gaming deals so far, based on what PC Gamer readers are checking out:

  1. Lenovo Legion Pro 7i gaming laptop ($2,249)
  2. ASRock Phantom 27-inch monitor ($100)
  3. Alienware curved 34-inch QD-OLED monitor ($1,085)
  4. Secretlab chairs gaming chair (save up to $150)
  5. HyperX Cloud Alpha wireless headset ($150)
  6. Razer BlackShark V2 headset ($60)

  8. Gigabyte G5 gaming laptop ($899)
  9. Razer Blade 15 gaming laptop ($1,800)
  10. Sabrent Rocket 2230 1TB SSD ($104.45)

Note that the Razer Blade 15 laptop on that list isn't a deal we've recommended this year (readers spotted it in our guide to the best laptops). We like the Razer Blade 15 a lot, we just think you should be looking at laptops with RTX 40-series GPUs, and the  Razer Blade 15s that are on sale have 30-series GPUs in them. Here's our list of the best Prime Day gaming laptop deals for all of our current recommendations.

I'm afraid we haven't noticed any incredible, last-minute RTX 4080 deals—this Zotac just below MSRP remains the best one we've seen—but we did just notice that you can get the Bloodborne board game for $76.99 on Amazon, down from its original $119.99. Yeah, it's not a new 4080, but if you play it at your desk, you can tell your friends you're playing Bloodborne "on your desktop."

Bloodborne: The Board Game | $109.99 76.99 at Amazon (save $33)

Bloodborne: The Board Game | $109.99 76.99 at Amazon (save $33)
Alas, Bloodborne is still not on PC, but it could be on your tabletop. The Bloodborne board game is a cooperative game about fighting "beasts, monsters, and townsfolk" to save the city of Yharnam from a corrupting plague.

Two of PC Gamer's favorite board games, Cosmic Encounter and Star Wars X-Wing, are also on sale. So is the Frostpunk board game... break that one out on a chilly evening, perhaps.

Prime Day technically ends tonight, but it's really a week-long event—after they made one day into two, what was to stop it from expanding further?—so we expect lots of deals to remain active, especially at other retailers like Best Buy and Newegg.

Still, some of the bigger Amazon deals in particular may expire when the clock strikes midnight Pacific Time, so you might want to give our list of the best Amazon Prime Day PC gaming deals a browse before then to see if any of our top recommendations are on your shopping list.

Our favorite RTX 4080 gaming laptop is still on sale for a great price today. It briefly went up to $2,250, but has dropped again to its original discount level. With $551 off the retail price, this is a great deal on PC Gamer's pick as the best gaming laptop around today.

Lenovo Legion Pro 7i | Nvidia RTX 4080 | Intel Core i9 13900HX | 16-inch | 1600p | 240Hz | 32GB DDR5-5600 | 1TB NVMe SSD | $2,749.99 $2,199 at B&H Photo (save $550.99)

All with a discount.

It's impressive that both our favorite gaming laptop and our pick as the best budget gaming laptop were both discounted over Prime Day, and are both still available at their sale price. This Gigabyte machine is a great price for an RTX 4060 laptop, even if it could do with a little more RAM.

Gigabyte G5 KF | Nvidia RTX 4060 | Intel Core i5 12500H | 15.6-inch | 1080p | 144Hz | 8GB DDR4 | 512GB SSD | $1,099 $899 at Newegg (save $200)

If you want a totally no-compromise gaming laptop for a surprisingly affordable price, then MSI's Katana 15 is that machine. It's sporting both an RTX 4070 GPU and a powerful 10-core, 16-thread Core i7 CPU of the Alder Lake generation. There's no compromise on wider spec, either, with a full 16GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB SSD to back it up.

A great gaming laptop at a price only just north of $1,000.

MSI Katana 15 | RTX 4070 | Intel Core i7 12650H | 15.6-inch | 144Hz | 1080p | 16GB DDR5 | 1TB SSD | $1,499 $1,159 Newegg (save $340)

Proof that Nvidia's new RTX 40-series graphics tech doesn't always come at a crazy price. This RTX 4070 laptop is relatively affordable and comes ready to roll with 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. The 15.6-inch screen rocks IPS tech and 144Hz, too. OK, it runs last-gen Intel CPU tech, but with six Performance-cores, it has all the processing grunt you need for gaming.

If you're more interested in desktop gaming than a laptop, then Skytech's perennially the masters of discounted gaming PCs. The Nebula is our pick from this week, and it offers an RTX 4060 Ti with a healthy complementary spec for a sub-$1,000 price.

I would really struggle to go back to just a plain ol' 16:9 display having spent the last few years with either a 34- or 40-inch ultrawide at the heart of both my home and office setups. But it doesn't have to cost a fortune to get a great gaming ultrawide monitor with a high refresh rate. As proven by this excellent ASRock panel for under $300.

Our Jeremy's been happily using this exact model in the office for ages, and he's a real snob about rubbish screens.

Razer's best gaming headsets are still on sale at the moment. The wired version is sticking to its $60 price tag, which is welcome considering it's our pick as the outright best gaming headset today.
