Wondering how to get the Yoroi armor in Halo Infinite? Season 1 of Halo Infinite's multiplayer has just begun and the Fracture: Tenrai limited-time event is coming next week. In addition to regular playlists, this event will feature at different points during Season 1 which runs until May 2022. Fracture: Tenrai will be free for all players and will feature a special playlist and an event-specific challenge list and battle pass, as well as samurai-themed rewards.

Halo Infinite Fracture: Tenrai start date

The Fracture: Tenrai event begins on November 23 and will run for one week until November 30. During that time, you'll be able to claim a whole bunch of Samurai-themed cosmetics by taking part in its event playlist and completing challenges.

Halo Infinite's weekly reset will be each Tuesday. Expect the event to return in the not too distant future.

Halo Infinite Fracture: Tenrai rewards

The big reward for completing the Fracture: Tenrai battle pass is the Yoroi armor core. If stomping around the map looking like Master Chief or your favourite Reach characters is too boring for you, you'll definitely want to complete the Fracture: Tenrai challenges to unlock the full set. There will also be other customisation options such as emblems and colour schemes up for grabs that you can use to adorn your weapons, armor, and vehicles.

While the event only runs for a week at a time, it will return several times throughout Season 1, so there will be many opportunities to earn the full set. It's not clear whether the challenges will be new each time or what changes will be made each time it returns, but more information is likely to come after Halo Infinite's general release on December 8.

Halo Infinite Fracture: Tenrai Fiesta matches

To complete Fracture: Tenrai challenges, you'll need to complete Fiesta matches. This is a specific Slayer playlist that equips you with a random loadout each time. It is quite good fun to begin a match with a Needler stuck to your leg, though you can start with other weapons and equipment.

To complete challenges, you'll need to kill Spartan enemies, use specific weapons and win Fiesta matches. Doing so will net you rewards like the Torii Reflection epic backdrop, Gatekeeper legendary shoulder pads and Sol Devil weapon coating for the MA40 AR.

Halo Infinite Fracture: Tenrai Peerless Warrior

This week's Ultimate reward is the Willow Tea armor coating, which you can get by completing the Peerless Warrior challenge. You need to get five killing sprees in a single game, which means you need to kill five Spartans in a row without dying in a single match. Good luck with that.

It's unlikely you'll unlock all the rewards in a single week, with many being available when Fracture: Tenrai returns in a few weeks. You can read what our new Features Producer Nat thinks of the Fiesta matches here.

Guides Editor

The first three games Lauren played on PC were Star Wars: X-Wing, Zoo Tycoon and Barbie Fashion Designer, which explains her love of all things space, strategy and aesthetically pleasing. Lauren recently took over as PC Gamer's Guides Editor after three years of writing many dozens of Destiny 2 guides at VG247, as well as casually trying to shoehorn in The Witcher 3 articles wherever possible. When she's not trying to force everyone to play as a Warlock in Destiny 2, Lauren is either mastering her SEO abilities to help smash the competition, or patting one of her red sons.
