Steam's global top sellers are my Hit Parade

Dropping back 3 places this week is Dota 2, hanging in at number 10 in its 460th week in the charts. Did you know Mr. Brightside by The Killers has held the UK pop charts in a stranglehold for the last 520(!) weeks?
A new entry at number 9 for Dressmaker. More than just another shop sim, this is serious seamstress simulation. Fashion hasn't been this much fun since Bowie.
Rocketing up 58 places to number 8 is Total War: Warhammer 3, thanks to its latest single, Lords of the End Times. Heavy metal isn't dead—it just smells that way.
Ace Combat 8: Winges of Theve shoots up 50 places to number 7 on preorders alone. It's not even out yet, you maniacs.
Like Tom Waits it's Big in Japan, though Apex Legends drops 2 positions to number 6 this week.
At number 5 it's Control Resonant, giving people who are mad about Epic exclusivity even more ammo.
A new entry at number 4 for Aniimo, another open world creature-collector that is definitely not Pokémon.
Falling 2 places to number 3 is last week's number 1, Wardogs. Someone call the medic.
The perennial Counter-Strike 2 returns to number 2, moving up a single position since last week. This is its 737th week in the charts. Chew on that, Mr. Brightside.
Which means Steam's number 1 game is EA Sports FC 27, moving up 25 positions to take the crown and prove all our little games about amnesiac detectives and spaceship captains really are nothing compared to the spectacle of some fit people kicking a ball about.
