Anime girls and post-apocalyptic military are like peanut butter and jelly: A surprisingly compatible combination. No game perhaps embodies that better than Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium—the tactical RPG from Sunborn Games—and now is a fantastic time to dive in as the game gears up to release its action-packed [Aphelion] update, introducing new characters, outfits, and free rewards.

The [Aphelion] update introduces two new Elite dolls to the already impressive roster: Sentinel Klukai—available from March 20—and Support class Mechty, who'll be arriving on April 10.

Klukai is a sharp-tongued, cold-as-ice Doll and the leader of the H.I.D.E 404 squad. While she appears to be ruthless on the surface, she's shown to have a more caring side, especially when it comes to stranded Dolls. But it's not just Klukai's razor-sharp wit that enemies will have to look out for—they'll also have to watch out for the motorbikes she loves so dearly. She's sure to be an excellent addition to Commanders' squads, with Klukai's resilience making a big difference in battle.

As well as Klukai, Commanders can also obtain the outfit Speed Star for free by completing in-game tasks, while the gorgeous Astral Luminous outfit will be available for a limited-time discount between March 20 and April 9.

If you're looking to make Klukai even stronger, the Elite Weapon Skylla will be available. It's a high-performance Assault Rifle, boasting medium ammo that can tear enemies to shreds and help Commanders lead their Dolls to victory.

Klukai isn't the only Doll being showered with gorgeous new outfits, however. Makiatto is getting two new outfits: Embroidered Bamboo and Blooming Shadows, both of which will be available for a limited-time discount between March 20 and April 9. Peritya is also getting the new outfit Born Huntress, which will be available in the shop for the same duration.

Don't forget to check out these new Dolls and outfits in the Refitting Room and Dormitory to fully appreciate the stunning costumes.

Beyond new Dolls, the [Aphelion] update also brings two new game mods: Boundary Push and Assault Simulation. Boundary Push is a weekly mode that has Commanders exploring the Contaminated Zone: Take your Dolls down to three different depths—the deeper you go, the higher the risk but the greater the rewards. It'll be a great way to earn an abundance of development materials, allowing you to make your beloved girls even stronger.

Assault Simulation is all about putting your manual shooting skills to the test, killing all enemies as quickly as you can to obtain the highest stage rank. Higher scores will grant Commanders a wealth of Assault Supplies for their hard work.

Make sure to dive into the [Aphelion] update as soon as it lands to take full advantage of Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium's limited-time events and free rewards. The [Aphelion] Time-Limited Event is set to shower Commanders with generous rewards like Collapse Pieces, Access Permissions and Target Access Permissions just for participating, which'll also go towards obtaining Klukai's Speed Star outfit. Logging in over the duration of the event will also grant Commanders Targeted Access Permission x 20 and Access Permission x 10.

And if you made it this far, here's a redeem code for all you Commanders out there: WHITEDAY. A second code will be revealed on the Girls' Frontline social media soon, so stay tuned!
