New Game of Thrones action-adventure RPG takes you back to Westeros
You know nothing, Player One.

I miss Jon Snow. There, I said it. I miss his moody gazes, his puffy fur coat, and how he slices through White Walkers with ease. 'Game of Thrones' was appointment viewing when it was on the air, and I loved getting to dive into that intense and intricate world. Maybe you're like me and wish you could revisit that era of Westerosi history. Maybe you're even looking for a little adventure while diving further into Game of Thrones' rich lore.
In Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, you can find the adventure you seek. Full of fan-favorite characters (and some folks you'd rather avoid), this immersive action-adventure RPG delivers a brand-new story that takes you from North of The Wall to King's Landing. Coming to PC via Steam and Windows Launcher, as well as iOS and Android devices, this game will have you muttering, "You know nothing, Jon Snow," to yourself all over again.
The North remembers
You start off as an heir to a minor Northern house, Tyre. You're sent to The Wall to find your uncle. Set during the latter half of season 4, you'll carve your own path within the complex political landscape of Westeros. Even though it's set during an established timeframe, you'll get to experience a brand-new adventure, digging into unseen parts of the story and seeing events like the rise of the White Walkers from a fresh perspective.
While you'll meet a ton of new, compelling characters, it wouldn't be a Game of Thrones game without all the people we know and love (or loathe). While on your journey, you'll get to build relationships with key characters, including the calculating Cersei Lannister, the vicious Ramsay Bolton, and everyone's best bud, Samwell Tarly. You can also expect political machinations from small council members like Petyr 'Littlefinger' Baelish and Lord Varys. An appearance from our favorite sad boy, Jon Snow, should go without saying.
We didn't just fall in love with Westeros because of the people—we also remember the places. Game of Thrones: Kingsroad faithfully recreates locales like Winterfell, Castle Black, and Highgarden. You can roam The Red Keep inside King's Landing to see The Iron Throne up close and personal. You'll also be able to unearth new, hidden towns with untold stories to experience. The immersive open world gives you access to some of the most memorable locations in this iconic story.
First lesson: Stick them with the pointy end
When it comes to the ARPG gameplay of Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, you'll have some variety. There are three classes to choose between. You can be a longsword-wielding Knight, fighting similarly to characters like Ned Stark and Jaime Lannister; a Sellsword, with brutal, heavy-hitting combat inspired by Wildlings like Tormund or Dothraki like Khal Drogo; or an Assassin, a dual-dagger combatant who chooses agility over raw strength, similar to Arya Stark or Oberyn Martell.
Each class lets you build your character in a way that suits your own playstyle, with unique weapons and a range of skills. Expect to search for resources and craft gear that's perfectly tailored to your character. You'll find yourself figuring out patterns and countering at the perfect time, making for compelling combat. You'll put those skills to use during the singleplayer story mode and during the multiplayer mode 'Altar of Memories,' where you'll fight legendary creatures such as Ice Spiders, Ironbeak Griffins, and the Red Cockatrice.
The singleplayer story features branching paths that deliver the kind of intricate journey you've come to expect from this world. With seamless crossplay between Steam and your mobile device, you'll be able to hop back in whenever you like. It's an adventure that will pull you in the second you hear Ramin Djawadi's classic theme.
Game of Thrones: Kingsroad comes out in 2025, but if you just can't wait, you can dive into early access on Steam by purchasing the Founder's Pack. With the Founder's Pack, you can start playing as soon as March 26th and earn rewards ranging from in-game currency to exclusive outfits to a direwolf mount. (Yes, you can ride a direwolf in this game. I probably should have just led with that.) Chaos is a ladder. Start climbing.
