From ION LANDS and 505 Games comes Nivalis, a beautiful voxel-art cyberpunk life simulator

It's a future we're all familiar with.

Uneven skyscrapers of neon and steel as far as the eye can see. Advanced technologies that blurs the line between physical and digital. And beneath its technicolor mask, there's an undercurrent of violence, crime, and corporate greed.

Like most people, you've probably wondered what it would be like to actually live in such a future. Not as a skilled hacker, street samurai, or corporate enforcer, but as an ordinary citizen. Someone who's less concerned with toppling society than they are with what they'll have for dinner.

Developed by ION LANDS and published by 505 Games, life simulator and management game Nivalis will give you that chance. The titular city is a vast metropolis that stretches from the coastline to the clouds, and moreover a veritable feast for the eyes. Its unique voxel art aesthetic lends it a degree of charm that many other cyberpunk titles lack, made all the more immersive by realistic weather simulation and day/night cycles.

As a new resident of Nivalis, you're here to make your fortune. To make it big as a business owner. To one day rub shoulders with the very corporate overlords that even now sneer down at you from their ivory towers.

Don't make the mistake of thinking it'll be easy, though. Corporations, with little care for anything but profit, will seek to fine you for every last cent you own. And should you stumble into the wrong neighborhood, you might well find yourself running afoul of one of the city's gangs.

If you're lucky, all they'll do is rob you — if you're not, say goodbye to your organs.

To make matters worse, Nivalis' days are numbered. The ground on which the city is constructed is slowly crumbling, gradually falling into the ocean. Eventually there will be nothing left.

For now, though, you need to stay alive and decide how you'll stake your claim. You need to decide who you will be and how you will play.

Maybe you'll start with a food stall, eventually growing it into a thriving restaurant chain. Perhaps you'll get your start selling stims, then build your way up to the city's most popular nightclub. Or maybe you'll decide business ownership isn't for you, and you'd rather just go fishing.

Whatever path you take, you have full control. Will you buy your ingredients, or make them yourself? What unique dishes and products will you create to attract the perfect customer? And how will you relate to the many people you meet along your journey?

You're far from the only resident of Nivalis, which is populated by a large cast of diverse and unusual characters. But what will they be to you? Friends? Rivals? Enemies? Partners? Lovers?
