Every game at E3 2016 and its PC outlook

Death Stranding

Coming to PC? Dead whales
When’s it out?
Baby

Kojima showed up at the Sony conference with a trailer. In the trailer, Norman Reedus is naked, on a beach, with a baby—he may have given birth to it—and a bunch of dead marine life. We’ve done our best to understand it and Kojima shed a tiny bit of light on how it will play. As for a PC release, we don’t have confirmation, but an old Q&A suggests that Death Stranding will only be a timed exclusive on PS4. We’ll see!

We Happy Few

Coming to PC? Yep
When’s it out?
July 26, 2016 (Early Access)

The first-person stealth survival game set in an alternate history 1960’s England, created by developer Compulsion Games, is getting ever closer to freaking us out. It’ll be in Early Access at the end of July, letting us get a taste of a world where citizens must take a state-mandated drug called Joy which keeps them docile and easy to control. As you try to escape you need to keep yourself hydrated and fed, and try to blend in with the drug-addled populace and army of creepy cops.

Halo Wars 2

Coming to PC? Yes, yes it is
When’s it out?
February 21, 2017

We’re glad Microsoft stopped by the PC Gaming Show to give a first look at Halo Wars 2 gameplay, where we saw UNSC infantry and vehicles fighting on The Ark against Covenant forces. In development by 343 Industries with help from Creative Assembly, Halo Wars 2 seems somewhat focused on accessibility, but not at the expense of some wonderfully-animated battles. Microsoft says that the game’s console control scheme isn’t simply being ported over to PC, where we’ll be able to take advantage of unit groupings, for example. A beta is available now, but only on Xbox One.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

Coming to PC? Hell yes
When’s it out?
August 23, 2016

The next entry in the Deus Ex series is almost upon us, and with its imminent release we’ve learned some backstory from a live-action trailer, we’ve gotten some hands-on time with a few of Adam Jensen’s new augs, and we got a tour of Dubai at the PC Gaming Show. We’ve even seen some DX-inspired real-life prosthetics being developed. There’s also a new game mode called Breach, which lets you challenge your friends to beat your score and time as you hack into corporations to steal data and battle AI defenses. Adam Jensen will even be coming to a puzzle strategy game, Deus Ex: Go, which has only been announced for mobile devices but feels like a lock for an eventual PC release.

Trials of the Blood Dragon

Coming to PC? It already did!
When’s it out?
It already is!

Announced at E3, and then made immediately available on Steam, it’s a new Trials game awash with the retro-futuristic theme of Blood Dragon. As you might expect, there’s more than just jumping bikes around, it also lets you pilot spaceships, ride minecarts, and includes some run-and-gun sections where you blast communist aliens during “Vietnam War 4.” Sounds about right.

Steep

Coming to PC? Yes
When’s it out?
This winter

What’s steep? Mountains are steep, of course, and where Steep takes place. It’s an open-world extreme winter sports game, where you can parachute and wingsuit and ski and snowboard down giant summits with other players. Do not attempt any of the stunts in the demo below, as they would all kill you. Instead, check out Tom's hands-on impressions.
