ArcheAge: Unchained, the sandbox MMORPG from XL Games and Gamigo is set for release on October 15 and promises to take all of the content and gameplay from ArcheAge and make it accessible to everyone in one package. Ideal timing as the days get colder and the evenings draw in and players begin looking around for a new MMORPG to immerse themselves in.
Unlike the original, ArcheAge: Unchained has levelled the playing field so, no barriers, making all gameplay features and items accessible to everyone. There will be no elements that allow for player/skill advantages through spending money and players will instead need to rely on individual skill to get ahead. ArcheAge: Unchained includes every piece of content from the last five years, meaning you won't have to miss out on the many exciting updates that the MMO has seen since it's original launch. Currency items available in ArcheAge: Unchained will be purely cosmetic and will not provide any gameplay advantage.
Whether you're a first-time explorer or even if you've ventured into the world of ArcheAge in the past, you'll get to enjoy the proven gameplay concept that has excited thousands of players in ArcheAge over the last few years. Gather materials and craft goods and vehicles, build yourself a house—or a castle if that's more your style. Form alliances with other players, create guilds and conquer your enemies and their strongholds or go up against other hundreds of other players in open-world battlegrounds
There are so many options to customise your playstyle—220 class combinations provide plenty of variety - you're sure to find the right build to suit your needs.
ArcheAge originally launched in 2014 with a free-to-play model and has seen a lot of success in that time with many players enjoying the core concept of what the sandbox MMORPG has to offer. With this in mind and after listening to feedback from the community, Gamigo decided to go with a second, fairer game experience in ArcheAge: Unchained.
The original, free-to-play ArcheAge will continue as it is and will remain separate from ArcheAge: Unchained. Both versions will co-exist and continue to receive game and content updates. Many graphical updates, as well as a new skillset, will be available in both games when ArcheAge: Unchained launches later this month.
