Here's when you can expect to play Halo Infinite's co-op mode
It's set to arrive later this year.
It's been a long wait for the Halo Infinite co-op mode. Though it was initially planned to release a little while after the launch of the main game, repeat delays and developmental issues have meant that it's been pushed back again and again, leaving players wondering when they'll finally be able to set foot on Zeta Halo with a friend.
Co-op is a vital part of Halo, after all, and the game's new open world offers some fun possibilities in terms of exploration and combat. So when can you expect to play Halo Infinite's co-op mode for yourself? Luckily, a new roadmap was released not so long ago that provides more details.
If you're looking for more info about Halo Infinite Season 2 and its launch, or want a summary of how Season 1 panned out, take a look. Otherwise, here's when you'll be able to play co-op in Halo Infinite.
When can we expect to get Halo Infinite co-op?
The Halo Infinite co-op release date is August 2022, according to the recent roadmap for the remainder of the year. 343 has cited that their priority is getting "into a sustainable development rhythm so that we can deliver great experiences to all of you while maintaining a healthy work/life balance."
The mode was originally supposed to arrive around three months after the initial release of the game, coinciding with Season 2. However, Season 2 has since been extended in duration to six months, lasting from May to November. This means that co-op is slated to land slap bang in the middle of the season if there are no more delays.
