Best known as the longtime operator of the long-form obscurities newsletter Tedium, Ernie got his start in journalism thanks to a stint working on the groundbreaking console emulation site Zophar's Domain in the late '90s. Since then, he's written on a variety of topics, mostly focused on the history of technology, early internet culture, and odd corners of our weird world. He's not sure if Legend of the Mystical Ninja or Actraiser is the best Super NES game, but he's at least narrowed it down to two.
